CMI Associates, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina, is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to design, implement, and facilitate training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our sales and marketing teams. This role will play a crucial part in onboarding new hires, developing leadership skills, and ensuring that our team is equipped with the tools needed to excel in direct sales and client engagement.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs focused on direct sales techniques, customer engagement, product knowledge, and compliance.

• Conduct new hire onboarding sessions to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

• Design engaging workshops, e-learning modules, and hands-on training exercises.

• Continuously update training materials to align with industry trends, client needs, and sales strategies.

• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and group training to enhance sales performance.

• Identify skill gaps and develop personalized learning plans for team members.

• Provide constructive feedback and actionable insights to improve individual and team effectiveness.

• Partner with sales managers and team leads to assess training needs and recommend development initiatives.

• Support leadership training programs to groom high-potential employees for management roles.

• Assist in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.

• Analyze sales performance data to measure the impact of training initiatives.

• Provide reports and recommendations to leadership on areas for improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mass communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or any related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

Special Skills: Salesforce, SARA Plus order processing software, Microsoft Office.

Normal worksite: Remote work permitted

Travel Information: Travel: 5% - 10%
