Phaxis, a leading travel healthcare staffing company, is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in the welcoming town of Temple, TX. This role involves working a 5x8's schedule (five 8-hour shifts per week) in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing comprehensive therapy services to patients
- Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Help patients improve their mobility, strength, and physical function
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to established protocols and safety standards
**Qualifications:**
- **Certification:** Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PTA
- **Independence:** Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
- **Licensing:** Must be licensed to practice in the state of Texas
- **Skills:** Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
