We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Trucking/Transportation Underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a background in underwriting, with specific expertise in Trucking or Transportation.
St. Petersburg, FL or 100% Remote,
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in the end-to-end underwriting process, including account underwriting, quote issuance, policy binding, endorsement management, and state/federal filing.
- Foster effective communication with agency partners to drive profitable growth.
- Execute daily tasks related to underwriting with precision and attention to detail.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction by:
- Proactively interacting with all agency partners and management on a daily basis, ensuring exceptional client support.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on Trucking/Transportation underwriting experience.
- Proven track record of successful underwriting in the trucking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing trucking insurance.
- Exceptional communication and people skills, essential for effective collaboration.
- Ability to thrive independently in a remote work environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events, showcasing commitment to professional development.
