We’re proud to be working with one of Pennsylvania’s most trusted pediatric home care providers—serving families for over 50 years ! They’re now looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Utilization Management team.
In this fully remote role, you'll help ensure children across the state receive the medically appropriate care they deserve—all from the comfort of your home. If you have a passion for pediatric care and a sharp eye for healthcare compliance, this one’s for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct utilization reviews for pediatric Shift Care services
- Assess medical necessity using established clinical guidelines
- Work closely with RNs, providers, and families to coordinate and optimize care
- Communicate service decisions and authorizations with providers and patient families
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in Medicaid and health plan systems
- Navigate Microsoft Word, Excel , and other electronic healthcare platforms like a pro
What We’re Looking For
- An active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- 3–5 years of experience in pediatrics, utilization management, or home care
- Bonus points for knowledge of Medicaid or health plan processes
- Strong communication skills and a knack for clear, empathetic conversation
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records and software tools
