Job Description

Our client, a leading financial services firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a skilled UX / Design Operations Project Manager to join their team on a temporary basis (40 hours/week). This role requires a seasoned project management professional with a background in UX and design operations within large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including UX, visual, research and motion designers—to streamline and implement cohesive design initiatives across web and mobile platforms
• Manage all aspects of program execution, including planning, tracking progress, mitigating risks and communicating with stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement through effective documentation, change management processes and alignment with partner teams
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional groups such as design, product and engineering to ensure seamless delivery of design programs
• Contribute to the development and deployment of design systems and design languages in a fast-paced corporate setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in UX Design Project/Program Management or Design Operations within a product design or digital organization
• Proven ability to lead and operationalize UX design programs in large, complex and often ambiguous environments
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for managing design workflows and collaboration
• Background in managing design systems and/or design language frameworks
• Strong understanding of the UX design lifecycle, from concept through execution
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
