Job Opportunity: Managing Director, Business Valuation Services

We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading Business Valuation practice that offers comprehensive services in Business Valuation, Business Diligence, and Disputes Consulting across a wide range of industries and complex situations. This practice is part of a globally recognized financial services company, integrating with market-leading Valuation and Monetization businesses.

About the Role:

Our client's Business Valuation practice is dedicated to identifying the intrinsic value of business assets, maximizing and monetizing their value, and providing a suite of services including lending, financial reporting, compliance, fairness opinions, tax, and dispute resolution. This role offers a unique chance to leverage existing relationships and expertise to deliver top-tier solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with a diverse client base on Business Valuations, Purchase Price Allocations, and Portfolio Valuations, collaborating with internal and external business leaders to develop a premier practice.
• Conduct valuations for mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, bankruptcy and reorganization, litigation and dispute resolution, and strategic planning.
• Utilize your network to support and grow a thriving book of business.
• Contribute to the development of the Business Valuation Practice by leveraging a substantial network or book of business, building a team, and driving internal cross-selling efforts.
• Establish and maintain an effective sales and marketing process to sustain a growing team's book of business.
• Partner closely with clients, emphasizing quality relationships and practical, hands-on solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of motivated professionals, fostering their development.
• Support leadership and revenue generation efforts, maintaining a substantial book of business.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in Business Valuations with extensive networks in Senior Lender, Private Equity Funds, and Law communities, known for delivery, performance, and excellence.
• 15-30 years of relevant experience, including over ten years in Accounting and/or Consulting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to create value within your network and build a world-class advisory platform.
• Strong leadership experience as a manager and team builder, with a history of sustaining a profitable pipeline of engagements averaging 750k in revenue in a year.

Salary: $250,000
