Mars Hill Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team

Mars Hill has been AAHA accredited since 1998. We provide excellent care to our patients, and we are looking to hire a Full or Part-Time Veterinary Assistant that will help us uphold that reputation.

Our Veterinary Assistants are an important part of our pet care team and help provide excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. It requires an excellent attitude, work ethic, and self-motivation.

The Veterinary Assistant role can be a full-time or part-time position that requires some Weekends and Holidays.

This position is a great training opportunity for someone who wants to become a Veterinary Technician. We prefer candidates with veterinary practice experience including:

• Greeting patients/clients
• Lab work
• Monitoring of patients
• Assisting veterinarians
• Pharmacy duties
• Handling medical records
