The Uptown Veterinarian is seeking a full-time and/ or part-time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are a non-corporate, woman  and Latino owned small animal clinic in Uptown Minneapolis. We have a friendly, close-knit staff with an emphasis on quality patient care and client satisfaction as well as an emphasis of work-life balance for our staff. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong skills that can help us grow with the changing veterinary landscape. Veterinary experience is a  MUST.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Client communication
• Animal restraint and care
• Lab procedures
• Radiology
• Anesthesia management
• Dentistry
• Client intake and checkout
• Routine vaccine administering
• Prescription preparation
• Surgery preparations

Clinic Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8am – 6pm

Saturday: 9am – 1pm

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
