Position : Video Editor

Working Hours : PST, 8am to 5pm, M-F

Holiday : TBA

Salary : USD 1,000

• Must be comfortable working LA working hours when needed

Responsibilities:

• Edit videos for courses, social media cuts, and marketing

• Repurpose long-form videos into social media posts

• Regularly collaborate with the team for directions and project status

• Follow the company's brand guidelines

• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects

• Create rough and final cuts

• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

• Consult with management from production to the post-production process

• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe tools, etc.)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, etc.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
