We are excited to welcome a dedicated and innovative Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team! In this role, you will provide remote speech and language services to students in Maine, helping them thrive by addressing their communication needs through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities:
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs and develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Therapy: Design and deliver engaging and effective remote therapy sessions to address various speech, language, and communication disorders.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environments, ensuring a holistic approach to each student's development.
Progress Monitoring: Track and document students' progress using digital platforms, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Technical Support: Utilize and manage teletherapy technology effectively, troubleshooting as needed to provide seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience: Previous experience with teletherapy is preferred, but not required. We welcome new graduates who are eager to explore remote service delivery and bring fresh ideas to our team.
Skills: Proficiency with virtual communication tools and technology. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
