Workday HRIS Specialist (Payroll)

Hybrid (3 Days Office)

We’re supporting a global, fast-scaling business that’s looking for a Workday HRIS Specialist with payroll expertise to join their HR Technology team in Austin.

This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) with strong cross-functional exposure across global HR, Payroll, and People Systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own day-to-day system management of Workday – with a focus on Payroll
• Act as a key partner to global HR, Payroll, and Tech stakeholders
• Build and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and security protocols
• Drive system improvements and process optimisation
• Support ongoing upgrades, integrations, and implementation projects

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years' experience working hands-on with Workday HCM and Payroll
• Confident managing large data sets and troubleshooting complex issues
• Strong cross-functional comms skills (technical + non-technical audiences)
• End-to-end system implementation experience
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Compensation:

Base: $120–140K

Potential for temp-to-perm or direct hire
