Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to officiate youth basketball games for children in grades 1st4th. As a Youth Basketball Referee you will ensure games are played in a safe fun and positive environment while promoting sportsmanship and skill development.
Games will be played on the following Saturdays and game times will range from 8am3pm.
Game Dates: January 11th 18th & 25th February 1st 8th 15th & 22nd

- Knowledge and experience in the sports of basketball.
- Communicating all calls to players and coaches.
Responsibilities:
- Officiate youth basketball games enforcing rules and maintaining a fair and safe playing environment.
- Encourage positive behavior and sportsmanship among players coaches and spectators.
- Communicate calls and game updates effectively with players and coaches.
- Provide basic instruction to players as needed emphasizing skill development and game understanding.
- Assist with game setup and breakdown including court preparation and equipment checks.
- Uphold YMCA values and ensure a positive experience for all participants.
